(b1980) David is a self taught artist, painting in oils.  He started painting in 2005 following a visit to the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art where he was inspired by the French impressionist collection and in particular the mesmerizing works of Claude Monet.  The museum opened his eyes to the world of art and has been absorbed by painting and studying art ever since. 

Painting for him is a complex language with no boundaries or limits, which presents endless opportunities for exploration.  He is constantly seeking to expand his vocabulary in this context, exploring new techniques, subjects and use of colour.

David is primarily a landscape painter working out of the United Kingdom, with London and Venice amongst his favorite subjects to paint.  He paints in an impressionistic manner, seeking to capture light and atmospheric effects in landscape using a tonal approach.

I have given you a sample of his brilliance as an artist carrying on in the greatest traditions of impressionist manner of painting; His sensitive approach is both poetic and atmospheric in nature
